We stayed in Visalia as a base for our trip to Sequoia NP. The house was in a very nice neighborhood, with beautiful landscaping and a great patio. The 3 bedroom / 2 bath main house was spacious and provided everything we needed. The guest house was so cute, even though we did not need the space. It was about 53 miles to the NP entrance, but the drive was better than staying at the little motels that dot the ride into the park. A great place to stay in central Visalia! We stayed in the Floral apartments and the beds are comfortable and the home is cozy. The Sweet Retreat is great for multiple couples or families. Located close to downtown Visalia and close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. We visited the beautiful National Parks, had a wonderful time. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful with old growth trees, we enjoyed taking the dogs for walks.
