The owner of Onyx Properties, Lisa Scott, was a CPA for 27
years and retired to start her own company, Onyx Properties, in 2017. Since then, Onyx
Properties has grown from 2 vacation rentals to 27 rentable units. In 2022, Lisa’s son James
became the Manager of the Company. Lisa is a very detailed person, as accountants usually are,
which has helped her as a host. She believes that attention to detail can be the difference between
